Well, Amigos, Worsham Street is in an uproar tonight as the old woman Slow and Amiga Driver and Favorite Aunt of All Time and Smokey Lonesome Ollie and Yours Truly prepare to saddle up the Dodge Dakota and leave the ‘Hood early tomorrow morning. Yessiree, yessiree, yessiree. Flurries of activities as we pack up our troubles in our old kit bag and smile, smile, smile. Well, maybe not smile exactly. We’ll miss the Little Women of Worsham Street, the Romantic Peeps who are now Engaged Peeps, Ex-Neighbor Jon who is now VIPeep and his wife who is now Montgomery First Lady Peep, Badger, Buddy, Brinkley and Botox, Granny Selma, the Woodlands Peeps, the many Texas Cousins from around these parts and the Shipley’s Donuts Lady Who Rarely Smiles. We’ll miss our walks on Old Plantersville Road and our downtown walks and barking at the Pups across the fence from us in our back yard and the Countless C-A-T-S we see through the fence in the front yard. We’ve been busy and have had a great stay, but it’s time to move on down the road.
We love you, Texas, but we miss Pretty and the girls so we’ll have to say Hasta La Vista which is Spanish for check you later!! Turn out the lights, the party’s over!!
