Cowabunga! I can’t believe it – Worsham Street woke me up to COOL temps this morning for the first time in six weeks! I swear I thought it was a Cold Front and not a minute too soon I might add! The Weather Channel announced a lo of 59 and a hi of 92 and I felt like hugging the TV. Still no rain but no winds either so the firefighters in Grimes County caught a break today. I’m feeling much better tonight than I did two nights ago, although we can see smoke in the distance on Old Plantersville Road when we take our country walk. My nerves are less frazzled.
I even spent some time in the front yard enjoying the sun this afternoon. Ahhhhh…if only Pretty was here with me.
