Dear Slow,

Just a quick note to tell you that I am not missing you at all and have been quite happy to be at Casa de Canterbury with Pretty.   We’ve been doing all the things we love to do together like playing tennis at our Special Place and hanging out with our city friends and in general having a swell time without your constant interference.  I’d forgotten how much fun Pretty can be without your old woman self dragging us all down.   And Wow, you want to talk about Fabulous Pretty Pets?!   I feel like I’ve died and gone to doggie heaven…on a king-sized bed that’s even “king-ier” since you’re not in it.   Pardon moi, but who needs you.
