Well, here’s where the old woman Slow took Pretty yesterday for her first full day in the ‘Hood…
Yep, Slow and Pretty rambled around country roads yesterday and ended up in the Washington on the Brazos State Park just across the Grimes County line in Old Washington. Whoopdidew…doesn’t that sound like a barrel of fun? Oh, hi Pretty what did you do while you were in Texas? My goodness, you won’t believe it but I went to the place where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed when they split from Mexico in 1836. Wow, seriously?!! Yawn, yawn and yawn again. Can you imagine…
The Shot Heard Round The World Was Not Fired Here
But the Texans did decide to break away from Mexico in this little building
Whatever.
So I’m wondering if they saw anything INTERESTING on this little jaunt to the birthplace of Texas Independence. Hmmm….so the birthplace had a farm, too. Swell.
Looks like a lot of Bull to me
Sorry, Pretty, if this is the best the old woman can do for entertainment, The Red Man pities you and hopes your other vacation days are a lot livelier, if you catch my drift.
For sure tomorrow is Game Day and the Cocks have a date with the Gators in the Swamp. Big Game, Sports Fans…get me outta here Percy…Worsham Sreet will be rockin’ and rollin’ tomorrow and I need to save my strength for the stress!
Red Man, did Pretty a least get some pie out of the trip??? Ah well, sometimes we humans need a little time together doing foolish stuff to get reacquainted after time away from each other. Sort of like you dogs hanging out chewing on old, nasty bones. You know, downtime. Hugs and have a safe ride back east.

Yes, Pretty did indeed get Pie on the Porch at one of the Little Women of Worsham’s houses before she left to come back to SC which is where we are this night! We are all safely under one roof and too tired to write, but thank you for checking in with us and give Miss Poppy Seed a smooch and tell her we all love her new snazzy profile pic!!
