Well Amigos all’s well that ends well, as The Red Man is fond of saying, and this week has been a Happy Ending for Number One Son and Pretty Too. Pretty and the old woman Slow are excited that #1 Son and Pretty 2 have bought their first house and it’s only twenty minutes from Casa de Canterbury. Let the good times roll.
Gamecocks are a generational thing
Pretty 2 multi-tasking – juggling job, moving and taking care of…
… Maddie?
Who the hell is Maddie? And what did they do with their old you-ain’t-nuthin’-but-a-hound-dog Sadie?
Well, excuse me, but apparently The Red Man is the last to know there are now TWO grand-dogs and Maddie is the latest addition. Sigh. Gamecocks and dogs, two great traditions. Pretty and Slow must have done something right along the way.
Get me outta here Percy…it’s the weekend, and The Red Man is ready to P-A-R-T-Y! Go Cocks! Hook ’em Horns! Catch ya later Sports Fans…
Wowser, bowser!! That’s one fine looking home. Very sweet inside and out. We wish the younger generation many happy days and memories in their new home. Also, we appreciate how awesome it is to have Pretty and Slow’s family close by. Of course Ma is used to everyone in her family living in each other’s pockets…. except when it comes to Old Lady Nana’s care, but we won’t hijack your post!! 😉
Woo, wee!!! A new pup in the family. She’s adorable. Holy Milkbones, Red!!! You’re an uncle again. Congrats! 😀
Love,
Your Poppy, Cassie “The Tyrant” Potatoes, and Zeus Almighty (Who is going to be forced by Ma’s teacher to cross the icy Skippack Creek later this morning. Hope Ma doesn’t end up in the drink. Oh, to be a fly on Zeus’ tail!)

Aha…sounds like your Ma is in for another Zeus Almighty adventure today, and we are all hoping she doesn’t end up in Skippack Creek…brrrr…that name just makes me shiver and shake…God knows how cold it might be – good grief. Be thankful you are safely out of harm’s way on that note!
Yes, we are very lucky to have the kids and pups in our “pockets” – hm…I think that’s where they’ve lived for quite a while anyway!! 🙂
Enjoy your weekend, you two, while Ma risks life and limb on Zeus!!

Hahaha, we shall see, won’t we? I understand Pretty 2 inherited Maddie from her grandmother’s passing in September so Maddie apparently LOVES the old woman Slow…clearly reminds her of her other white-haired person! So grateful Pretty 2 and #1 Son love dogs…but then, why wouldn’t they? 🙂

Oh I like their house, I like the modern look inside. Could maddie be their new dog, hey, new house, new dog, why not….Tell my new cousins to enjoy their new house, can’t wait to see it in person, from the country hill………..

Greetings cousins from the country hill…yes indeed Maddie is the new dog – Caroline’s grandmother died in September and left three dogs that needed homes so Caroline took one!! She and Sadie are gradually getting accustomed to each other’s company. Sadie the Hound Dog has been an Only Dog for so long she tends to be a bit territorial, but having new digs should rectify that situation hopefully!
Hope you and the Brothers Three are well and playing well together!! 🙂
Miss you guys and hope you’ll be able to come out for a visit before too long…
