Welcome to the Olympics, Rugby Sevens – The Red Man sends Paw Snaps and Twirls to you for your 2016 debut appearance at the games which is his highest honor to bestow on all of you rugby sevens players taking center stage in Rio de Janeiro on Day Three!

(looks the same in any sport, doesn’t it?)
Next up – the Aussies and the Kiwis go for Gold
Meanwhile, the news at Casa de Canterbury was very bad when Pretty and Slow found out the Williams Sisters had lost their first-round doubles match in Rio yesterday, plus Venus lost in the first round of singles so it was a double whammy for the home tennis team fans at the Casa. Slow and Pretty are a bit perturbed that they can’t find Olympic tennis on their TV so now they must rely on Pretty’s tracking down all the scores on her trusty computer. Woe is them. They are undone. Not to worry – they are easily undone – and typically recover quickly. Heh, heh. I remember those “undone” moments from Back When.
Speaking of undone, the USA Volleyball Team almost came apart during their game with The Netherlands today – but rallied to win in the fifth game. Whew – that was a squeaker – The Netherlands played great and came THIS CLOSE to winning. The Red Man sends Paw Snaps and Twirls to both teams for great play.
Netherlands players hang tough
Team USA had to work hard – powwow often
Sweet Lady Gaga and Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates…I’m exhausted from trying to keep up with my view from The Edge in The Middle today – just one other news item. The Austrian men’s Beach Volleyball Boys get Paw Snaps and Twirls for their awesome win against Brazil. Awesome Austrians in the sand.
And that’s a wrap for today’s games as seen by The Red Man. Stay tuned, Sports Fans.
Red Man, send a message to Pretty and Slow that the Bravo! network is carrying the tennis. This is seriously cutting into my human mommy’s Real Housewives viewing habits, which in my opinion is not at all a bad thing. Please don’t judge her. It’s one of her few guilty pleasure. Ok, so she has lots of guilty pleasures, but the Real Housewives are by far her most embarrassing guilty pleasure.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Miss Harper Lee!! Pretty and Slow are thrilled to catch up with the tennis!!!
Poor you – the Real Housewives?? Really??
Oh, my…well it’s her one weakness…:) You must forgive her that one.

I know. It’s embarrassing. But my little sister Tallulah is a handful so sometimes Mommy needs something to dull her mind . . . and the Housewives have fewer calories than wine. 😉
