First it was The Guild, now it’s a Book Festival. Worthless, that’s what she is. The old woman Slow’s been worthless as my editor for the entire month of May. Books, books, books. Will SOMEBODY please buy some books…
The woman has no shame. She takes advantage of The Red Man’s good nature and her position as my editor to advertise and promote her own words. Well I say enough is enough. Somebody stop her.
If you’re in South Carolina this weekend and looking for real adventure, dash over to see Slow at the Convention Center in Columbia. Go early, though. Her thingie about her book is at 10:00 a.m. in Lexington B wherever that is. Tell her The Red Man sent you.
Get me outta here Percy…I’m freaking over my own largesse…catch you later, Sports Fans…
Such drama since your Tex exit. How do you find the time to change up your background art, be the leader of the Pack, and coordinate mass attacks on book festivals? You are either superhuman or a sprite. I am suspect of the former, and in awe of the latter.

I swear you make me laugh! Yes, activity levels picked up in SC and the old woman Slow is moving at warp speed for her. Our Tex life is confined to cousins and life on Worsham and the occasional guilt for not writing as much as we should, but SC is a different story. Life with Pretty has always been more action-oriented and it’s truly a circus here with the complete Pack assembled. 🙂

You are a hoot, and not right…see, I do learn, eventually. A television reality show would ruin your household dynamic, but I could see some Media Execs scurrying for the rights to invade your ain’t right world. I get to gently observe and be thoroughly amused. Lucky me…thanks for letting me in.

We are happy to have you in our otherworldly world. Yes, no reality show for Pretty and Slow and the Pack. We ain’t right either. 🙂

You are quite generous, Red Man, to share your valuable blog space with Slow. I do hope she appreciates all that you do for her. Maybe if you sell some of her books, she’ll get extra treats for you . . . or you could just buy a lottery ticket and hope to treat yourself to a lifetime supply of Milkbones. 🙂

Miss Harper Lee, what an outstanding idea – we will send the old woman Slow to purchase a lottery ticket tonight. Ha. No more book selling. 🙂

Unless the old woman Slow made a quick dash to Florida, it looks like you (and unfortunately I) are out of luck on the big lotto prize. Back to selling books!

My dear, I have to say the old woman Slow is unable to make a quick dash anywhere – much less to Florida!! 🙂 Alas, no lottery winner at Casa de Canterbury. Back to trying to sell books. 😦

Of course you know Slow will post pictures, and I can tell you this Agent Deal isn’t promoting ME, so I’ve lost most of my interest!! I’m thinking of firing her if she doesn’t shape up. 🙂

All of us at Casa de Canterbury are hoping that the RUC has taken off with great speed and that you are not sanding doors this weekend! 🙂

Yes (the RUC IS taking off quickly) and Yes (I have been sanding doors) – but the good news is that my muscles are so toned that I could probably win the next world arm-wrestling comp 😉

I’m hoping it’ll be ready soon because the young guys I’ve got working there have been doing a lot (building bedroom walls etc). When it’ll be ready to go I have no clue but I’m thinking of having a sleep-over there this weekend 😯

Whoa Nellie – you’re not inviting the young worker guys for the sleep-over, are you?? 🙂
Hope whoever comes will have a grand time – put them to work immediately!! We are so happy for you to be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

LOL – just me and hubby and the dogs for the sleep-over. It’ll be interesting to see how the dogs handle the height because this will be their first time there since the house went up 😯

Oh thank God you’re taking your husband instead! 🙂 We will all be hoping that dogs and husband and you will have a grand sleep-over. I suppose your dogs are very much like ours and will be no help at all with sanding doors. But they will guarantee to be entertaining! Enjoy and take pics when you can!
