The Red Man is a huge fan of Chris Evert and always believes everything she has to say when she covers the tennis matches on TV and when she says Serena Williams is playing tennis at her “Peak” then by God Serena Williams must be playing the best tennis of her career at the US Open in New York City this week. For confirmation, ask Carla Suarez Navarro from Spain who unhappily celebrated her 25th birthday tonight by playing against Serena in the quarterfinals to the tune of the big Double Bagels: 6 – 0, 6 – 0. Turn out the lights, the birthday party was over. The Red Man sends his condolences to Ms. Suarez Navarro and Paw Snaps and Twirls to “Peak Serena.”

Hey Red Man. Please ignore this comment (sort of the way I ignore lots of Mommy’s comments) if you get it twice. Mommy got lazy and tried to take a short cut when she first tried to post it. Here is what she tried to say:
Well, you made my mommy start thinking about her odds of grabbing that US Open purse versus her odds of winning the Powerball. Finally, she likes her Powerball odds! This calls for a trip to the Circle K to buy a Powerball ticket and a six-pack of Coors Light. 🙂

She is playing well, but Azarenka beat her in the finals in Cincinnati a couple of weeks ago, so she isn’t invincible!! 🙂
