Well Amigos, big week at Casa de Canterbury with the old woman Slow and Pretty staying tuned to the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the 2013 season. They are both still happy, and we are all the better for it. Slow’s glad Nadal blew past the poor Peep who faced him in Round One and Pretty is all smiles with Federer moving on to Round Two. So far, so good.
Football fever in the home of the Cocks has reached epic proportions and local Sports Fans have crowned Jadeveon Clowney King of the World before the first ball has been snapped. Let’s hope he’s all that – for his sake and ours, too.

My two would race down to join yours if they could drive. A couple of days ago, little Cassie knocked over the kitchen waste can. I found her standing in the can licking BBQ sauce on a paper plate. She loves her junk food! Poppy watched amazed. It never occurred to her to do something like that. 😀
