Breaking News – Hot Off the Presses – Terrier Wins Best in Show at Westminster
No, No, No – not THIS terrier
(You mean I have cousins in China? Do tell.)
Yes – THIS is the one
A beautiful bitch named Sky
Judge Betty Regina Leininger
looked this way…
and then she looked that way
and then she took LOTS of time trying to figure out
what line to write the winner’s name on
but finally Sky got the gold (and purple) Best in Show Ribbon
The Red Man sends Paw Snaps and Twirls to the Westminster AKC Best in Show for 2014 – you are Numero Uno (Number One in Spanish) and represent all of us terriers with a touch of class which we could all use, if you catch my drift.
You GO, Girl!
…get me outta here Percy…I need a hot toddy to cope with all this COLD SNOW. Catch ya later, Sports Fans. Stay warm and dry.
I have wanted a shih-tzu dog for so many years, maybe one day when I have some money
Yes, always good to have money and time for little dogs! 🙂
yes it is, I can always find places for the money I have. For some reason for me, the dog is on the back burner. After all, what would Rhino, our cat have to say about a dog moving in???? LOL
I see homes where dogs and cats get along well, but I have to say ours is not one of them. TBO Chelsea and Spike would not make good Amigos for Rhino. We know that for sure! 🙂 Maybe keeping the dog on the back burner is the best idea!
Cassie Potatoes and I are thrilled to see such a beauty win Best in Show. Of course we are partial to terriers too. Hmm… I wonder why? 😉
As for that judge, she should win Best Coiffed or something like. She was very well turned out for her moment in the limelight.
Hope you are safe and snug. The Winter of 2014 slogs on.
Love to you and your fellow Musketeers.
Poppy (Get me a raincoat. I hate the sleet!!)
Yes, I am afraid we are sending PAX your way, and it was my understanding that PAX meant peace in some language – perhaps Latin. Regardless, this is not a peaceful encounter for you and won’t be for you, too.
Poppy, please do put on your raincoat because the sleet is frightful!!
Yes, I am sure Cassie Potatoes shared The Red Man’s delight that a member of her family won Best in Show!!
The Red Man sends Paw Snaps and Twirls to all of you and hopes that you can stay warm and dry for each other…
Casa de Canterbury (which remains snowed in)
Yes, Ma laughed like a maniac when she heard the storm was called “Pax.” Not a good name. The Latin doesn’t dress it up any!!! We are having a lull before the next round. We are to expect a total of 16 inches. I know for a fact, Ma shoveled 10 inches of slop from the drive and sidewalk.
Sending essence of home delivered pizza your way, for I understand that’s what’s for supper tonight. 😉
Gosh, Poppy, we don’t understand how your Ma and your neighbors deal with this every winter. She must be made of hearty stock is all we can think but then what’s not to love about home delivered pizza whether you’re snowed in or not?! 🙂
